Research & Clinical Collaboration
Solight’s exploration of color light therapy is being developed in collaboration with researchers at Harvard Medical School, investigating how specific colors and wavelengths of light may support mood regulation, emotional balance, and stress reduction.
Early observational use of therapeutic colored light environments at Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital in Kyiv, Ukraine showed promising responses among children experiencing severe trauma. Healthcare providers reported noticeable improvements in calmness, emotional engagement, and mood after exposure to structured color light sessions.
While research is ongoing, these early observations contribute to a growing understanding that light—beyond illumination—can play a meaningful role in supporting emotional well-being.
